This column in the Simulate Results list defines the Action that is to be performed on each file and is set initially by AINES when a Simulate is performed. The Action is also reflected in the colour of the Simulate Result list item. The default colours are as below although these may be changed in File Name and Tag Coordinator Advanced Options:
This is how AINES assigns Actions:
Change: AINES is confident that the names extracted are correct
Change ??: AINES is fairly confident that the names extracted are correct, but it would be advisable to check the proposed changes before applying them
No Change: AINES was unsuccessful in reliably proposing any changes
A further action that is available is Delete, but this may only be applied by the user. AINES will never suggest that a file be deleted.
Notes
If you check or uncheck a Simulate Result list item, this will toggle the Action between Change and No Change only. Change ?? is purely to indicate a confidence level by AINES and for apply purposes, is the same as Change. Delete may only be selected via the Actions menu or Simulate Results list context menu.
